Yes that’s right!
This weekend I am finally venturing the legendary forest of Dean! YES YES YES! I can’t wait! For those interested, I shall report and photograph, and blog for you from a foreigners point of view, because, I am sure for and Englander it is all lovely, but for an anglofile, Harry Potter fan, a foreigner, (I categorize myself in all those three) it is probably going to be A-MAZING!
I am UBER excited, and I am going to listen to Stephen Fry’s dulcit tones reading Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows in the car, ALL the way there. Pity those who are with me that day, because it is going to be an emotional rollercoaster-ride, cycling, eating, and lots of running around with small sticks playing Harry Potter… Of course, I am going to play the part of Hermione.
Obviously, Im not ONLY going because of Harry Potter, and J.K Rowlings talk about how attracted she is to that forest, and how magical it is, I do miss the woods. Being a Norwegian, being used to having a forest by my doorstep, it will be a breath of fresh air, (literally) compared to the hazy days in London at the moment. The weather is improving and I can SMELL THE SPRING!
Wish me a good trip.. and tune in over the weekend for an exlusive report…
