Birthday celebrations

So it was Andy’s birthday on the 17th and mine on the 19th, and the June house got together to give us a celebration to remember. After an intense class at The Groundlings I came home and The girls and I got ready as the boys were finishing cooking our birthday meal.

The food was served and the table was set. They had cooked two rotisserie chickens, salad and some potato pasta.

Here we are our friends all gathered around the table, dressed up in their own ways in honour of me and Andy.

They had bought so much Coke, in honour of me, and everyone was consuming it like wine by the table, just like me, which was a nice gesture as well. The chicken was gorgeous, and the Coka Cola was a 1843 -a very good year.

I was so happy, I love my birthday, especially when I’m surrounded by people who genuinely care and want me to have a great day. Hahah.. I’ve had so many good birthdays in my life. And now… I’m 24! WOW.

Sam and Mimi dressed up Two good friends, an American Italian and a real Italian

Kate in the kitchen. The whole house was decorated with birthday decorations.

Stand and look pretty!!! We had endless photo shoots.

Then Joe took us outside with Will talking to us about stuff we didn’t even understand about a short film skit or something and Will was trying to get a birthday picture supposedly.

Β But it was of course all a distraction, as inside they were preparing our cakes and presents.

HAAAAAPPYYYY BIIIIIRTHDAAAAY TOOO UUUUUUS

THey even got our names on the cakes! I really didn’t expect that…. So nice. Like my leopard dress by the way?

Got some nice photographs of people I love, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Tom Hardy as Bronson

LOOK AT MY CAAAAAAAAAKE!

Β ONe of our favourite things to do. Just chilling on the porch.

Two OVEREXCITED birthday kids

You KNOW you’re living with cool people when they are willing to do improv games on your birthday. Can you believe I found this house on Craigslist? I really lucked out. I didn’t know what to expect, or how I would make friends, or if I would like anyone in school or at my house. And I ended up with a great gang of interesting, likeminded, politically engaged and filmloving freaks like me.
