Seems I can’t escape… This was slightly more glamourous than the Hollywood I know however…
Here’s the jolly entrance to the hotel, all christmassy and lovely, and Ann-Christin, Annette’s sister, dropped us off, and we waggled like Bambi on our heels with our big coats on top of our dresses, in to the reception.
You KNOW, things are serious, when u hang up your coat in a COAT ROOM. Shit’s REAL.
Saying hello to old collegues, and some I didn’t know as they were knew, and some from Superland (the playworld section), that I haven’t met before and just a lot of people, that were already drunk, typical Norwegian christmas party, the first mingling bit where people drink champagne and talk shit.
But the best bit was to see my boss again, I LOVE LOVE LOVE him… He was arranging the whole thing, And I think he did an awesome job, really well done, decorations and all.
look at the stage, how AWESOME IS IT???
I had to laugh though, when the first thing I see as I entered the party hall, was the big fat sign
I was super excited about the food that we were gonna eat that I made Phillip feel uncomfortable. That’s what I do. That’s my thing.
But duuude, how can you blame me? Look at this gorgeous plate I had….
Then our hotel boss lady did her speeches and started the award ceremony, the awards were such as, ‘Best co-worker’ ‘Best dressed woman’ ‘Best dressed man’ ‘Superstar of the year’ etc. It was a lot of fun.
Then Annette’s sister entertained us all with her fabulous voice, straight from Les Mis up north, gracing us with her presence.
We had a LOT of fun taking pictures and hanging out with the celebs….
Touching the red carpet like there is no tomorrow
I’m pretty sure I gained some pounds after that dinner, and the delicious desserts we were served, but then, I did dance all night and run around like a fool, sober, like a child, happy and silly.
